Annual Morgan Hill Haru Matsuri Festival (Spring Festival)

• The Haru Matsuri Festival & Taiko Expo has been cancelled due to continuing concerns regarding the unknown risks surrounding security and safety concerns. We want to  make sure our community and volunteers are safe and not at high risk from these concerns. We are thinking of changing the format of our festival to help mitigate some of these concerns.

MHBCC Community Picnic and Bake Sale - Saturday, May 16, 2026   Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center

Mark your calendar for another special event, our annual MHBCC Community Picnic, sponsored by the So. County Morgan Hill Service Group for our community members, their family and friends. Fun games for the kids and the kid adults will start at 10:00am with the drum beats of the Niseishin Daiko Taiko, with lunch starting at 12:00 noon. Tickets for lunch will be sold at the door with adults at $5 and children only $3. Current MHBCC JA senior members will receive a complimentary lunch. Lunch menu is hamburgers, hot dogs, chili beans, corn, green salad, fruit and beverages. Desserts and snacks from our volunteers can be purchased at the BAKE SALE going on at the same time. On sale will be desserts, snacks, Japanese treats of yaki manju, mochi, spam musubi, and MORE!

Entertainment will be provided by Green Feather Jazz Society, Niseishin Daiko Taiko group, Renkishin Dojo and the local ukulele group, Kahiko Guys and Gal. Some of our Lucky attendees will be able to win a Door Prize.
